Angelo State University is seeking qualified firms to provide flooring services, including lvt, vct, polished concrete, broadloom carpet, carpet squares, wood laminate, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, and various other flooring items. The selected firm(s) will contract directly with ASU and work cooperatively with ASU, its Owners’ Representative, and any Design Professionals to complete the full scope of the project within the project budget and on schedule. The firm(s) will be responsible for providing the necessary materials, labor, tools, and equipment to complete the work, and will be required to have Worker’s Compensation, Liability, and Automobile Insurance. • The work will be supervised and inspected by a representative of the University. • The contractor will be expected to work during hours that best serve the interest of the university, typically between 8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday. • The contractor must be able to respond to work requests within 48 hours. • The contractor will be required to provide a HUB Subcontracting Plan for each project. • The contractor will be evaluated based on their experience, ability to provide insurance and bonding, overall evaluation, specific project experience, approach to scheduling, quality assurance plan, accounting system, safety and health program, records of claims and litigation, and experience modification rating.
