Jefferson County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair services for BARD heating and air-conditioning units, including BARD controllers. The selected vendor must be a BARD-authorized dealer/service agent with immediate access to parts and supplies. The contract will ensure the reliability of HVAC systems critical to Jefferson County's Public Safety Communication System. The scope of work includes bi-annual inspections and testing, preventive maintenance services, repair services, and recordkeeping and reporting. • The contract term will be three years with an option to extend for two additional years. • The vendor must provide proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. • The vendor must comply with New York State regulations and laws, including the prevailing wage rate provisions. • The vendor must provide a written policy addressing sexual harassment prevention in the workplace and provide annual training to all employees.
