Description:
The University of Colorado is seeking a qualified moving company to manage ongoing moves for the CU Denver | Anschutz Medical and South Campuses. The successful supplier will be responsible for moving laboratory research equipment, hazardous and non-hazardous materials, clinical operations, educational equipment, and office relocation. The supplier must have at least five years of experience in business and must meet the minimum mandatory qualifications listed in the RFP. The contract is for a term of five years, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods. The key aspects of the job include: * Moving laboratory research equipment, including frozen research that cannot be compromised during relocations * Handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials, chemical stock solutions, and cryogenic liquid nitrogen vessels * Providing experienced project managers to coordinate with the UC Denver | Anschutz Transition Project Manager * Ensuring timely submission of invoices and work tickets * Maintaining satisfactory standards of employees' competency, conduct, courtesy, appearance, honesty, and integrity * Complying with all regulatory and safety requirements of the University, the State of Colorado, and the federal government. Some of the key requirements for the supplier include: * Having a generator truck in the fleet for freezers and ultra-low freezer relocations * Providing wall corrugate, corner protection at walls, doors, and columns, and masonite on floors in high-traffic areas and elevators * Discarding unwanted materials as directed by the UC Denver | Anschutz Transition Project Managers * Complying with all regulatory and safety requirements of the University, the State of Colorado, and the federal government. The University is looking for a supplier that can provide high-quality moving services, has experience with similar relocation projects, and can meet the minimum mandatory qualifications listed in the RFP.
