The County of Solano is seeking a qualified vendor to provide supplementary unarmed security services at multiple County locations. The selected contractor will be responsible for supplying all necessary personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, and management to ensure the safety and protection of County property, employees, and the public. The contract will be for a period of three years, with an estimated cost not to exceed $3,046,000. The contractor will be required to provide unarmed security officers to patrol and provide security services at designated County facilities, including the Government Center Campus in Fairfield, CA, and other locations. The contractor will also be required to provide training and orientation to all assigned personnel, and to ensure that all personnel meet the minimum qualifications and adhere to the standards of conduct and performance outlined in the RFP. • The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and materials, including uniforms, communication devices, and training equipment. • The contractor will be required to provide a list of assigned security officers, including their names, guard card numbers, and CPI certificates. • The contractor will be required to ensure that all security officers are regularly evaluated for professionalism, adherence to County protocols, and responsiveness. • The contractor will be required to provide a sample incident report form for County approval. • The contractor will be required to participate in regular check-ins or coordination meetings with County representatives to review service performance and address concerns.
