The Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) is seeking proposals for Automatic Passenger Counter (APC) certification services and dashboard software. The goal of this project is to enhance VVTA's ability to report passenger data and assess trends in ridership and passenger demand. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing APC certification services and developing a dashboard software that can generate accurate and timely stop-level on/off ridership data reporting for each route by day of the week. The contract will be for a period of 90 days for APC certification, an additional 90 days for the development of the dashboard, and 2 years of maintenance services for the dashboard software. Key features and requirements of the project include: • APC certification to produce ridership data of sufficient accuracy to satisfy FTA reporting requirements • Development of a ridership data analysis dashboard to generate accurate and timely stop-level on/off ridership data reporting • Integration with existing IRIS APCs installed on the VVTA fixed-route bus fleet • Compliance with all applicable Equal Opportunity Laws and Regulations • Provision of training and user guides for VVTA staff • Daily backup, system interruption, and disaster recovery plans • Maintenance and updates of the dashboard software for a period of 2 years.
