The City of Gilroy is seeking a qualified Below Market Rate (BMR) Housing Program Administrator to provide services to administer the City's BMR Housing program. The selected consultant will be responsible for administering the program, including maintaining a list of qualified buyers, coordinating BMR acquisition and resale, guiding current residence owners through the refinance process, and providing written quarterly reports to staff and the City Council. The consultant will also be responsible for conducting monthly virtual program orientations, creating flyers for available units, and tabling at local Gilroy events to promote the program. Key aspects of the job include: • Administering the BMR program, including maintaining a list of qualified buyers and coordinating BMR acquisition and resale • Guiding current residence owners through the refinance process and providing written quarterly reports to staff and the City Council • Conducting monthly virtual program orientations and creating flyers for available units • Tabling at local Gilroy events to promote the program • Maintaining an updated database of all down payment assistance and other housing loans • Processing all reconveyance documents, subordinations, and legal recordings required when down payment assistance and other housing loans are paid off or refinanced
