The Leon County Government is seeking proposals from vendors for the design, engineering, and installation of roof-mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays on one or more County buildings on a continuing service basis. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing turn-key services, including design, engineering, permitting, acquisition, installation, and maintenance for one year, as well as supplying all labor, equipment, and materials. The primary objective is to maximize solar capacity and return on investment by installing high-quality materials and products on County buildings. • The vendor must hold an active Florida Certified Solar Contractor license or a Certified Electrical Contractor license. • The vendor will be invited to submit quotes when a specific need arises, and the County will evaluate the quotes and may issue a notice to proceed on the quote deemed to be in the best interest of the County. • The estimated budget for these services is $240,000. • The project duration is expected to be 5 years, with the original term being 1 year and four 1-year renewal options. • The vendor must provide a minimum of one year of system maintenance from the date of commissioning.
