The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking a contractor to repair a parking lot in Allentown, PA. The scope of work includes sawcutting the perimeter of each area, removing and disposing of existing asphalt pavement, replacing the asphalt pavement to match the existing depth, and sealing the edges of the repaired areas with hot asphalt cement. The contractor must also restore embedded safety loops and provide traffic control measures. The contract is expected to be a firm-fixed-price type construction contract. • The contractor must furnish all materials, equipment, labor, transportation, insurance, notifications, licenses, permits, fees, and supervision necessary to perform the work. • The contractor must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) on the date established for receipt of offers. • The contractor must complete and return the attached RFP, narrative, and work plan by the closing date. • The FAA reserves the right to review and verify each Offeror's program eligibility. • The FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more Offerors at any time during the RFP process.
