The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to replace the existing playground structure at the Rio Bayamon Housing Complex with a new structure designed for ages 5-12 years. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supervision, and incidentals for the work. The new structure will be installed on an existing 40 ft x 40 ft square concrete playground, and the contractor must adhere to all safety buffers and distances required. The contractor will also be required to provide three configuration/layout options for the playground structure, along with color options and equipment submittals for approval. The project must be completed within 90 calendar days from the award date, and the contractor must ensure that all work is in compliance with applicable ICC, Coast Guard Regulations, and local regulations. • The contractor must be licensed in the respective trade. • The contractor must provide a kick-off meeting for all interested parties to go over expectations, requirements, and proposed plan of execution. • The contractor must submit a roster of personnel, project schedule, safety plan, and product data. • The contractor must provide operation and maintenance manuals for the new playground structure. • The contractor must warrant that all goods supplied, systems, equipment, designs, and work covered by this scope of work shall be satisfactory for its intended purpose and free from all defects and faulty materials and workmanship.
