The County of El Dorado is soliciting sealed proposals from highly qualified and experienced firms to provide as-needed and urgent or immediate need landfill maintenance services at the Union Mine Disposal Site and other County locations. The successful Proposer(s) will be required to enter into a three-year contract for services with the County to comply with current Waste Discharge Requirements and State regulations for the Site and associated facilities. The scope of work includes as-needed and urgent or immediate need landfill maintenance duties, such as mixing and burying sludge, placement of temporary and permanent soil/synthetic/clay cover material, erosion control, grading/paving, dirt/gravel road maintenance, brush removal, pumping, slope maintenance/planting, pipe and valve maintenance, spray irrigation, and perimeter fence maintenance. • The Proposer must possess a Class A – General Engineering Contractor License or one or more of the following Class C licenses: Class C-12 – Earthwork and Paving Contractors License, Class C-13 – Fencing Contractors License, Class C-34 – Pipeline Contractors License, Class D – 21 Machinery and Pumps Contractor License, and Class D – 59 Hydroseed Spraying. • The Proposer must comply with all applicable prevailing wage laws and regulations. • The Proposer must provide a list of subcontractors, including their business name, contractor’s license number, and address. • The Proposer must provide proof of insurance and a certificate of insurance. • The Proposer must comply with the County's Business License Requirement.
