The State of Louisiana, Office of State Procurement, is seeking bids for the provision of Chair & Stool Kits for the Louisiana Department of Corrections/Prison Enterprises. The contract will be for an initial period of approximately 12 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods at the same prices, terms, and conditions. The contractor will be required to supply chair kits and all necessary component parts for assembly by Prison Enterprises. The kits should include component parts such as screws, foam, nails, seats, bases, wheels, back, chair controls, and fabric when specified. • The contract will be awarded to the overall lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting the specifications. • The State reserves the right to reject any and all vendors who cannot make delivery within the stated timeframe. • The contractor must be able to obtain and supply the item(s) at their bid price for the entire contract period and within the delivery timeframe provided for on their bid. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Clean Air Act. • The contractor will be required to provide a W-9 form with their bid if they are newly registered. • The contractor will be required to register as a vendor in the LaGov system in order to submit an online bid and receive automatic email notifications of bid opportunities.
