The State University of New York at Stony Brook is seeking bids for standby generator maintenance and repair services. The successful bidder will provide all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to perform general maintenance, service calls, replacement, and emergency service to both natural gas and diesel fueled emergency standby generators and associated automatic transfer switches (ATS), load bank testing, and as-needed rental at various locations on Stony Brook University Main Campus, Stony Brook University Hospital, Stony Brook University Southampton Campus, and at offsite locations belonging to, owned, operated, or managed by the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Key responsibilities include: • Performing annual preventive maintenance services on natural gas and diesel generators • Providing load bank testing for generators over 100 KW • Maintaining and servicing automatic transfer switches • Providing emergency service and repair • Ensuring compliance with NFPA 110 and NFPA 70B standards The contract term is 5 years, and the successful bidder will be required to have a facility adequate to handle all contract services satisfactorily.
