The State of Maryland is seeking information from vendors for the rental of sand bag filling machines in the event of an officially declared State of Emergency. The machines should have a capability of filling 20-30 sand bags per minute and be able to deliver to any location within the State of Maryland. The State is also interested in vendors who can provide bulk sand and sand bags. The contract term is anticipated to commence in the First Quarter of 2026 and may be for multiple years with renewal options. • The machines should be trailer-mounted and self-contained with all power and air requirements. • The vendor should be able to provide labor to operate the machines if necessary. • The vendor should be able to deliver the machines to any location within the State of Maryland within 24 hours of the request. • The vendor should be able to provide bulk sand and sand bags. • The vendor should be able to provide socioeconomic information, including MBE/VSBE/SBR participation.
