Description:
The Tattnall County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the repair of Levi Kennedy Road, which was damaged by the November 7th flood. The project includes excavating the existing roadbed, replacing existing 48” concrete pipes, adding 60” HDPE-HP pipes, rebuilding the road bed, replacing base and paving. The contractor will be responsible for providing fill material, grading, and paving. The project must be completed within 30 calendar days of notice to proceed, pending any delays due to weather conditions or problems acquiring pipe. • The project includes replacing existing storm drain pipes and adding new ones. • The contractor must provide compaction testing for areas under pavement at each site. • The project requires the use of GDOT standards for pipe placement and backfill. • A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on April 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM. • Bids should be submitted by UPS, FedEx, or hand delivery to the Tattnall County Courthouse.
