The Department of Water Resources (DWR) is seeking qualified firms to provide dam safety engineering services on an as-needed basis. The selected firm will provide engineering and related services to support DWR's Division of Operations and Maintenance in the review, inspection, evaluation, analysis, and oversight of structures associated with the State Water Project. The services will include dam performance surveillance and monitoring, risk-informed decision making, project initiation, planning, and permitting, analysis and evaluations, geotechnical and geologic studies, program development and support, engineering design and review, and incidental services. The contract is expected to be for a term of three years with the option for two one-year extensions. * Key services include: * Dam safety surveillance and monitoring * Risk-informed decision making * Project planning and permitting * Analysis and evaluations * Geotechnical and geologic studies * Program development and support * Engineering design and review * Incidental services * The firm will be required to provide a statement of qualifications, which will be evaluated based on factors such as the firm's experience, qualifications, and ability to meet DWR's needs. * The selected firm will be required to submit financial documents and a rate sheet, which will be used to determine a fair and reasonable cost for the services. * The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the State, taking into account factors such as the firm's qualifications, experience, and price.
