The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking bids for Unarmed Security Guard Services. The contractor will provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees for labor and supervision necessary for security for personnel in all buildings as well as aerial assets and support equipment at the Aviation Management Unit (AMU) facility. The contract will require the contractor to have a valid Private Patrol Operator's (PPO) License and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The contractor must be licensed to do business in California and have a valid Business License or California Secretary of State registration. • The contractor must have a business license or incorporation papers for their respective State showing that their company is in good standing in that state, if the Prime Bidder’s base of operation is located outside the State of California. • The contractor must provide their California Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS), and a valid Private Patrol Operator's (PPO) License at time of bid submittal. • The contractor must bid in compliance with the Wages and Employee Benefits, or In Lieu of Cash Payments as described herein (Gov. Code Section 19134). • The contractor must provide all required insurance, including general liability, worker's compensation, and commercial automobile insurance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and the California Civil Rights Law.
