Description:
The City of Newburgh is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed fireworks display vendors to present a show on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. The annual event is attended by thousands of people, and the rain date will be Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. The bidder will commit to both dates. The fireworks display should be a minimum of 20-25 minutes of high intensity, with a continuous visible display without delays or breaks in performance, and the finale should be emphasized. The pyrotechnic operator in charge of the display must have state certification, and safety standards must be followed. • The event will occur at 2 Washington Street, Newburgh, NY 12550, along the Hudson River. • The City will secure the area for the event. • The vendor will submit a bid proposal detailing the proposed Fireworks Display, including the total price, length of the event, a description of the display, and a description of the shells to be used in the show. • The contract will be for one year with two one-year extensions, upon mutual consent of the parties. • The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
