The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to place a sole source firm-fixed priced five-year ID/IQ contract with Panhandle Nuclear RX LTD for the procurement of various radiopharmaceutical items. The requested items are needed for patient care at the Amarillo VA Health Care System, Amarillo, TX, and the annual estimated quantities are provided in the document. The proposed sole source procurement will be made by an open market pricing agreement with Panhandle Nuclear RX LTD. • The nuclear pharmacy must be in close proximity to the delivery location due to the limited shelf-life of the radiopharmaceutical items. • The contractor must be licensed by the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC), or a State with a formal agreement with the USNRC that allows the State to regulate radioactive materials. • The notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals, but all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. • Proposals or offers received will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government.
