The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a proposal for a clinical trials matching system. This system should be able to scan electronic medical records (EMRs) for patients who qualify for available clinical trials. The system should also be able to match many patients to one study or match one patient to many studies. The ideal system should have an intuitive and user-friendly interface, be able to generate comprehensive reports, and have the ability to control user access security. • The system should be able to process structured and unstructured data, including clinical notes and lab results. • The system should be able to apply natural language processing (NLP) to interpret free-text data. • The system should be able to interface with other key software, such as Epic and Velos. • The system should meet security and accessibility federal and state requirements. • The system should have effective customer support and a quality training program.
