The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a new delivery order to Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Company, to complete the Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) effort to revise the Chip Detector Processor. The effort is for the CH-53K Heavy Lift Helicopters Program Office. The scope of work includes revising the Chip Detector Processor, and the contractor must have the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data to meet the Government's requirements on a timely basis. • The contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. • The proposed contract action is not a request for competitive proposals. • Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement. • Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Mr. Jason Lockwood.
