Description:
The University of California, Los Angeles is seeking bids for the renovation of rooms 78-099, 78-099A, 78-099B, 78-099C, 78-109, and 78-113, located on the seventh floor of the Brain Research Institute (BRI) building. The project includes interior demolition, new interior walls, new flooring, ceiling, and wall finishes, new duct work and electrical and plumbing systems, and new lab and office furniture. The estimated construction cost is $1,653,489. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk. • Bidders must have a California current and active contractor's license (B License, General Building) at the time of submission of the bid. • The successful bidder will be required to pay prevailing wage at the location of the work and follow nondiscrimination requirements. • The University is committed to promoting and increasing participation of small business enterprises (SBEs) and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs). • The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
