Mt. San Antonio College is seeking a consultant to provide registered waterproofing services on an "as needed" basis. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive services for the design, construction, and maintenance of building envelope systems. The scope of work includes site analysis and building condition assessment, compliance assessment, design drawings and specifications, material and system recommendations, construction testing and support, and additional services such as retrofit and rehabilitation, forensic investigation, and litigation support. The consultant will work closely with the college's project architect, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the long-term durability and efficiency of the building's exterior. • The consultant will provide services on an "on-call" or "as needed" basis, with the initial term of the contract being five years and the option to extend for up to four additional one-year periods. • The consultant will be required to execute a Master Services Agreement and provide professional liability insurance with limits of $2,000,000 per occurrence. • The consultant will be evaluated based on their experience, qualifications, and proposed fees, with the college reserving the right to negotiate with the selected consultant and terminate the contract at any time. • The consultant will be required to comply with all federal and state laws, including the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, and to provide a drug-free workplace. • The consultant will be required to submit a fee schedule and provide pricing for all services, including CWA and non-CWA applicable projects.
