Description:
The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide consulting, assessment, and technical support services to assist a state-operated psychiatric hospital in achieving compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) deemed status Conditions of Participation for psychiatric hospitals and The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation. The selected vendor will conduct a comprehensive CMS certification readiness assessment, mock survey, and provide recommendations for corrective actions. The vendor will also review construction design documents and as-built drawings to assess compliance with relevant standards. Key personnel must have experience in hospital regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and accreditation. The contract term is expected to be three years, with the option to extend up to two times for one year each. • The vendor will conduct a comprehensive CMS certification readiness assessment and mock survey to evaluate the hospital's current level of compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation and TJC. • The vendor will identify deficiencies and develop a detailed corrective action plan to support the implementation of corrective actions and sustainable compliance strategies. • The vendor will provide consultation and technical assistance to hospital leadership to support the implementation of corrective actions and sustainable compliance strategies. • The vendor will prepare executive summary reports summarizing key findings, strengths, and overall readiness for CMS certification and TJC accreditation. • The vendor will conduct a follow-up validation review to confirm completion and effectiveness of corrective actions.
