The Florida Department of Transportation is seeking a consultant to provide Right of Way Consultant Services - Acquisition. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing various services related to right of way acquisition, including but not limited to, appraisals, negotiations, and relocation assistance. The contract is expected to begin on December 1, 2025, and end on June 30, 2030. The scope of services includes providing professional services to support the Department's right of way acquisition activities, including acquisition, appraisal, and relocation services. The consultant will be required to have experience in right of way acquisition and must be able to demonstrate their ability to provide high-quality services. Some key points to consider: • The contract term is 57 months • The Department encourages small, minority, women, and service-disabled veteran businesses to compete for Department contracts • The consultant will be required to have a drug-free workplace program in place • The consultant will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to equal employment opportunity and nondiscrimination • The Department reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the state
