The Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) is seeking a vendor to provide Language Interpretation & Translation Services. The services include telephonic interpretation, written document translation, and on-site interpretation for Limited English Proficient (LEP) and Hearing-Impaired individuals. The contractor must provide qualified interpreters and translators proficient in various languages, including Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, French, and others. The contract term is two years, with the option to renew for up to three one-year periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and materials, and for maintaining a quality control program to ensure that services are provided in accordance with the contract. • The contractor must have a minimum of two years of experience in providing Language Interpretation & Translation Services. • The contractor must provide a minimum of three trade references. • The contractor must score a minimum of six points on each Reference Score Sheet. • The contractor must maintain workers' compensation insurance, comprehensive general liability insurance, and fidelity bond insurance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
