Description:
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Kansas City District is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide Fall Aggregate material to various maintenance facilities within the Kansas City District. The contract period for Fall Aggregates will be upon Notice to Proceed to October 31, 2025. The solicitation will be awarded by line item on a low bid, firm fixed-pricing basis. The required materials include Aggregate for Surfacing, Aggregate for Seal Coats, Snow and Ice Control Chips, Snow and Ice Control Sand, Cinders (Coal Slag), and Aggregate for Base. The specifications for each material are detailed in the document. • Aggregate for Surfacing – Grade A or B • Aggregate for Seal Coats – Grade C (Crushed Stone Only) • Snow and Ice Control Chips – Limestone Only • Snow and Ice Control Sand – Fine Aggregate meeting specific gradation requirements • Cinders (Coal Slag) – Material shall have 100% passing the 3/8” Sieve • Aggregate for Base – Type 1
