Issue Date: 01/06/2025 Contract Number: B1030 Hudson River Park Food Concessions Description: Background: Hudson River Park (the “Park”) occupies a four-mile expanse of Manhattan’s West Side and spans some of New York City’s most vibrant neighborhoods including Chelsea and the Meatpacking District. Our heavily trafficked public park is popular with families, runners and sports enthusiasts, national and international tourists, and others attracted to our beautiful waterfront setting and our safe, high-quality amenities. In the past two years, the Park has expanded significantly. Along with approximately 10 new acres of public open space, the Hudson River Park Trust (the “Trust”) has constructed several new concession buildings at multiple locations. Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the Trust seeks to attract partners interested in providing convenient, high-quality food and beverage options to park visitors at two of these newly constructed facilities at: (1) Chelsea Waterside Park and (2) Gansevoort Peninsula. Opportunity The Trust seeks submissions to this RFP from experienced and qualified operators for the Chelsea Waterside Park Concession and Gansevoort Concession. The selected respondent(s) to this RFP (“Permittee”) will operate a seasonal kiosk for walk-up, grab and go food and beverage service inside the “Premises” (defined below) in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this RFP and the concession agreement to be subsequently issued by the Trust (the “Permit”). Respondents may submit a proposal for one or both locations. See the full RFP for a description of the premises, permitted uses, maintenance and operations, fit-out, and other pertinent details. Chelsea Waterside Park Concession and Gansevoort Concession, individually or collectively, as defined in Section V below (the “Premises”), are being offered for this opportunity. The Permittee will assume responsibility for the operation of the Premises, including the permitted uses, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this RFP and the Permit to the selected respondents.
