The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking a contractor to provide Fire Season Recovery and Payables Support for E-Fund Finance. The contractor will be responsible for providing voucher processing and recovery package preparation support as described in the Detailed Scope of Work. The contractor must have experience with purchase order and voucher entry in the Financial Information System of California (FI$Cal) and familiarity with all system modules related to successful PO entry and voucher processing. The contractor must also have experience with emergency finance accounting and complex database and data visualization report design and production. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must be licensed to do business in California and have a business license or incorporation papers for their respective state. • The contractor must have a DVBE goal and provide proof of prior experience supporting and working on Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recovery packages. • The contractor must provide example(s) and references for at least one project involving purchase order and voucher entry in FI$Cal. • The contractor must provide example(s) and references for at least one project involving emergency finance accounting. • The contractor must have existing staff employed with the requisite accounting skillset to perform the functions of this Agreement.
