The vendor will be responsible for transporting laboratory specimens and other items between various locations. The contract will require the vendor to have vehicles and drivers to complete the weekday daily collections and on-call local service. The vendor will also need to provide equipment such as coolers, totes, locks, and temperature logs. The government will issue medical grade coolers for the transport of specimens.
