The City of Visalia is soliciting bids for an annual contract to supply and deliver Ferric Chloride to the Visalia Water Reclamation Facility. The initial contract shall be for a twelve (12) month period and shall, at the City’s option and upon mutually agreeable terms, be renewable annually thereafter for four (4) consecutive one-year periods. The successful bidder shall be responsible for providing all services necessary to fulfill the requirements of this Invitation to Bid. • The City requires Ferric Chloride at our Water Reclamation Facility and uses approximately 120 dry tons annually. • City WRF staff will place orders for Ferric Chloride delivery via email, and the supplier shall confirm delivery can be completed as requested. • The supplier must agree to supply product to meet ANSI/NSP Standard 60 Certified. • The product must contain approximately 38-41% ferric chloride.
