The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking a vendor to provide a hydro-vacuum truck, or equivalent, with operator to be used in any counties of KYTC District 1. The equipment shall be furnished in good mechanical working condition, fully operated with one operator and with all maintenance and repairs including fuel and lubrication necessary for its operation. The vendor shall provide at least two phone numbers where they can be reached and shall guarantee to begin work within 48 hours following notification by the TEBM of Project Delivery and Preservation or his/her designee. • Provide a pump truck, or equivalent, capable of cleaning septic tanks and sewer lines at KYTC facilities located within the 12 counties of Highway District 1. • Clean and remove waste material from the specified septic and sewer lines located within the specified work location by a cleaning and suction process, pickup and remove all foreign matter and debris generated during this process from the adjacent areas and ensure area is clean upon completion of work. • Dispose of the waste material at a location(s) approved for waste disposal and specifically not on Kentucky Transportation Cabinet - Department of Highways right-of-way and/or facilities. • Perform Cleaning of Septic and Sewer Lines as designated by the TEBM of Project Delivery and Preservation or his/her designee. • Provide suitable equipment in good working condition, conform to all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and furnish all equipment and accessory items necessary for the safe efficient operation and completion of the work.
