The Heard County Board of Commissioners is requesting bids from Georgia state licensed contractors to complete West Ferry Roadway Improvements in Heard County. The scope of work includes construction and services required by the Contract Documents. The Contractor must commence work within one week upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed. The contract shall terminate absolutely and without further obligation at such time as appropriated and otherwise unobligated funds are no longer available to satisfy the obligations of the County under this contract. Key requirements include providing all materials and services necessary, complying with all Federal, State, and local safety and health regulations, and obtaining all necessary permits and licenses. • The Contractor shall provide temporary water and sanitary facilities. • The Contractor shall comply with all traffic laws and regulations. • The Contractor shall maintain the job site free from litter, rubbish, and garbage. • The Contractor shall perform periodic clean-up and basic site restoration. • The Contractor shall provide quality assurance controls, including sampling and testing.
