Isabella County is seeking bids from experienced contractors to perform seasonal snow removal at the Sheriff's Office and Correctional Facility. The contractor will be responsible for removing snow from parking lots, driveways, walkways, and building entrances in a timely manner to provide safe and convenient access to county facilities. The contract will include tasks such as general snow removal, snow removal during work hours, and salt application to parking lots and sidewalks. The contractor must have the necessary qualifications and competencies to provide the goods and services solicited and must be licensed to do business in the State of Michigan. • The contractor must provide a detailed cost proposal, including expenses to be charged for performing the services necessary to accomplish the objectives of the contract. • The contractor must have a sound financial condition and possess the ability and capacity to fully provide the goods and services solicited. • The contractor must agree to procure and maintain various insurance coverages, including Workers' Compensation Insurance, Professional Liability Insurance, and Comprehensive General Liability Insurance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Michigan Civil Rights Act. • The contractor must provide at least three references from similar clients and must grant permission to the County to contact these references.
