The National Institutes of Health, Office of Purchasing and Contracts intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Therakos for the procurement of Cellex USA Kits, which are used for Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP) procedures. The kits are needed for patient care and are only manufactured and sold by Therakos. The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis due to the uniqueness of the product and the circumstances of the contract action. * The contract is for the procurement of five cases of Cellex USA Kits. * The kits are used for ECP procedures, which involve drawing patient blood, separating white blood cells, and exposing them to Ultraviolet (UVA) light. * The contract is being conducted using policies unique to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. * Interested parties capable of providing the same or similar products or services may submit a capability statement outlining their capability to perform the described work.
