The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking proposals for Mobile Ultrasound and Cardiovascular Sonography Services. The successful proposer will provide equipment and personnel to perform ultrasound services and cardiovascular sonography services at the TDCJ French Robertson Unit, TDCJ John Middleton Unit, and TDCJ James V. Allred Unit. The services must be completed at least twice a month at a mutually agreed time. The proposer must have at least 5 years of sonography experience or be certification eligible as a technician. • The proposer must provide a Mobile General Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Sonography unit, GE AlphaLogic 200 or equivalent. • The proposer must perform various ultrasound exams, including gallbladder, liver, spleen, abdominal aorta, thyroid, testicular, and pelvic exams. • The proposer must also perform cardiovascular exams, including adult echocardiogram, arterial duplex, venous duplex, and ocular B-scan. • The proposer must provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to perform the required scans. • The proposer must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
