The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from sources capable of providing Mettler Toledo Maintenance for 10 specialized mass comparators. The maintenance includes tasks such as cleaning, inspection, adjustment, and replacement of parts. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment at the NIST facility in Gaithersburg, MD. The maintenance and repair work should keep the equipment operating to its original manufacturer's specifications. • The contractor shall provide preventative maintenance for the mass comparators, including cleaning, inspection, and adjustment. • The contractor shall provide replacement parts where needed. • The contractor shall perform tasks such as turntable level and alignment, alignment and leveling of mass pan, inspection and adjustment of weighing cell, replacement of display battery, and evaluation and tuning of electronics. • The contractor shall provide certification showing that the systems meet the original manufacturer's specifications. • The contractor shall provide two visits within 36 months of performance.
