Description:
The State of Ohio is seeking a cloud-native Next Generation 911 (NG911) call handling solution to support its statewide NG911 system. The solution must be able to handle flexible capabilities based on the needs and schedules of the agencies and must interoperate with the State's current NG911 system. The solution must also meet the NENA i3 standard and other industry standards. The contract will be open to all State Agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Members once awarded. Key features of the solution include: * Cloud-native architecture with at least two geographically diverse hosting locations within the United States * Microservices architecture to provide enhanced scalability and high resilience * Containerization using container technologies such as Docker * Serverless functionality to minimize operational overhead and reduce costs * API-first approach to ensure seamless interoperability and integration with other systems * Compliance with NENA i3 standard and other industry standards * Support for password security mechanisms and single sign-on (SSO) and multifactor authentication * Ability to handle flexible capabilities based on the needs and schedules of the agencies * Interoperability with the State's current NG911 system and other systems * Compliance with industry standards such as NENA-STA-040.2-2024 and FIPS 140-2.
