Description:
The City of New York is seeking proposals for the provision of congregate supportive housing services. The goal of this initiative is to provide 15,000 new units of supportive housing in New York City over the next 15 years. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing support services, but not rental assistance, to vulnerable homeless New Yorkers in need of supportive housing. The contract term will be five years with one option to renew for up to four years. • The City's 15,000-unit plan includes 7,500 newly-developed congregate units and 7,500 scattered-site apartments. • The NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA) is the lead agency for procuring service awards for the 15,000 supportive housing units. • The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) will provide ongoing contract management. • The NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) may award rental assistance and capital to support the projects.
