The City of Bremerton is seeking bids from contractors for the Sheridan Road Sewer Replacement project. The work includes removal of an existing live sewer, installation of new sewer pipeline, connection to existing manholes, traffic control, erosion control, temporary flow bypass, removal of existing asphalt pavement, and surface restoration. The project must be completed within 60 calendar days of execution of the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Key aspects of the project include: • Removal and replacement of existing sewer lines • Installation of new sewer pipeline and connections to manholes • Traffic control and erosion control measures • Temporary flow bypass and removal of existing asphalt pavement • Surface restoration and other related work The City encourages the inclusion of composted materials in the project.
