Description:
The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Collins Industrial Way Traffic Safety Improvements project. The project includes traffic control, curb and gutter and concrete ramps and sidewalks, site grading, erosion control, milling and resurfacing, striping and pavement markings, signage, stormwater, decorative bollards, raised crosswalks with double 2-sided Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons and raised paver brick pedestrian crossing/tabletop. All work must be performed between 9 PM and 5 AM on weekdays, and at least one lane must be open in each direction at all times. • The project is located on Collins Industrial Way, between Collins Hill Road and Lonnie Harvel Blvd in Lawrenceville, Georgia. • The contractor must have a permanent place of business, appropriate technical experience, and the right equipment to perform the work. • The contractor must have completed at least three contracts of similar character to the work being bid, with an original contract price of no less than $500,000, within the past five years. • The contractor must provide proof of road paver brick work experience and provide pictures of past hardscape projects.
