The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is seeking eligible bidders to provide ASL interpreting services for various state agencies, including the Iowa Department of Corrections, Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services, and Iowa Education for Deaf and Blind. The services will include on-site and video remote interpretation for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. The contractor will be required to provide licensed interpreters, scheduling and booking services, and customer support. The contract term will be from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026, with the option to renew for up to five annual extensions. • The contractor must provide on-site and video remote interpretation services at various locations throughout Iowa. • The contractor must provide licensed interpreters who are fluent in American Sign Language and English. • The contractor must provide scheduling and booking services, including online and email booking capabilities. • The contractor must provide customer support, including a dedicated customer service representative. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA and FERPA.
