The Texas Military Department is seeking a contractor to provide armed security guard services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays, at four locations in Texas. The contractor must have adequate personnel to fulfill the requirements of the contract. The services include protecting the safety of the facility, monitoring and controlling entry, and ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the facility. The contract term is one year with three optional one-year renewal periods. The contractor must submit a proposal that includes pricing, company qualifications, key personnel qualifications, proposed methodology, and equipment and resources. • The contractor must provide armed security guards with a valid armed commission officer security guard license to work in the State of Texas. • The contractor must have a minimum of two years of experience as an armed guard. • The contractor must have successfully completed a State of Texas approved armed security guard officer training course. • The contractor must possess required permits and directives to carry a weapon.
