The City of Boise is seeking to pre-qualify contractors for the construction of a pump track at Charles F. McDevitt Park. The project includes the construction of a 300-foot long asphalt pump track with various features, as well as an 8-foot wide, 30-foot long concrete sidewalk and two stormwater sand filter windows. The contractor must have demonstrated professional experience in asphalt pump track and ADA accessible concrete walkway construction, and must meet certain qualification criteria, including having a valid Idaho Public Works license and providing references. • The pump track will be constructed from asphalt and will include various features such as rollers, embankments, and wooden "wall-ride" features. • The project will also include the construction of an 8-foot wide, 30-foot long concrete sidewalk and two stormwater sand filter windows. • The contractor must have successfully completed construction of a minimum of 5 asphalt pump tracks, each with a value of over $100,000, within the past five years. • The contractor must have successfully constructed a minimum of three ADA accessible concrete walkways within the past five years. • The contractor must own or have ready access to an adequate amount of proper equipment to construct an asphalt pump track. • The contractor's foreman must have at least three years of field experience in a foreman's capacity on projects of similar or larger scope and complexity.
