Description:
The Port of Los Angeles is inviting bids for the 2025-2027 Site Improvements project, which consists of nonexclusive on-call general maintenance and site improvements throughout the San Pedro, Wilmington, and Terminal Island districts. The work includes removal of pavement and other improvements, pipelines, and substructures; earthwork; construction of fencing, parking barriers, and traffic controls; construction of pavements, pavement markings, and other improvements; relocation of substructures and utilities; and site clearing. The project also includes trenching and backfilling, preparing soil, landscaping, planting, hardscaping, irrigation systems, site furnishings, and plant establishment and maintenance. • The project requires bidders to possess an active Class A California Contractor’s License at the time of award. • The project includes requirements mandated by the Port of Los Angeles Small Business Development Program aimed at increasing participation of small businesses and very small businesses in construction contracts. • Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference to receive information about the Program. • All questions must be submitted on the Port’s CDBON website. • Bids must be submitted online via CDBON on or before 2:45:00 p.m. (PST/PDT) on April 24, 2025.
