The Carroll County Board of Commissioners is seeking a qualified contractor for the construction of a Solid Waste Transfer Station at 439 Simonton Mill Road, Carrollton, Georgia 30117. The project involves replacing the existing building with a new 20,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building. The contractor will be responsible for constructing the new building, including exterior concrete push walls, a concrete floor with steel rub rails, a mechanical room, electrical, a fire suppression system, access ramp, scale foundations, utilities, and street lighting. The County will self-perform the site work, including installation of storm pipe, construction of retention pond, sediment erosion control, grading of the road, and other necessary site work prior to and during construction.
