The City of Seaford, Delaware, is seeking sealed bids for the purchase of a used bucket truck. The truck is a 2008 F750 XLT Super Duty Chassis with a Cummins IOSB 6.7L CM2150 engine, Allison Transmission, Altec LRV 55’ aerial platform, and various other features. The minimum bid for the truck is $10,000.00. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "ATTN City Manager – Bucket Truck" and addressed to Charles Anderson, City Manager, City of Seaford, P.O. Box 1100, Seaford, DE 19973. Bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 414 High Street, Seaford, DE. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any or all informalities in any or all bids. The bids may be presented to the Mayor and Council for bid award on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Potential bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the truck prior to placing a bid. The truck is offered "as-is, where-is," and there is no redemption period. The buyer must remove the truck from City property within 10 days of the bid award.
