The San Joaquin County is seeking a progressive design-build contractor for the BE WELL Phase 2 Campus Project. The project involves the development of a comprehensive, integrated health care treatment service campus, featuring facilities for outpatient care, urgent behavioral and mental health services, residential treatment, and transitional housing. The project aims to provide a harmonious balance to support the health and wellness of patients within the campus. The contractor will be responsible for delivering the project in two phases: the preconstruction phase and the construction phase. • The project will consist of three residential and/or treatment buildings, a support building, sitework, parking spaces, landscaping, amenities, and walkways. • The contractor will be required to provide a statement of qualifications, including their experience, qualifications, and approach to the project. • The county seeks to collaborate with a private partner to develop this project and achieve specific goals, including developing a comprehensive, integrated health care treatment service campus and expanding services and treatment bed options for individuals in health care services treatment programs. • The project has an estimated construction cost of $60,000,000 and is expected to be completed in 2029.
