The Alpena County Land Bank Authority (ACLBA) is seeking qualified demolition contractors to perform demolition services on a property in Alpena, Michigan. The scope of work includes: - Demolition of the structure, including the building, flatwork, and below-grade structures. - Removal of all concrete and asphalt drives, parking areas, private sidewalks, patios, or any other slabs on the site. - Utility disconnects, removal, abandonment, or protection of buried underground utilities. - Site restoration, including general backfilling, leveling, compaction, and the installation of topsoil, grass seed, and straw. - Coordination with the City of Alpena for planned Right-of-Way closures. - Coordination with Leavesley Construction, the Asbestos Containing Materials, Hazardous Materials, and Universal Waste abatement contractor. - Coordination with Otwell Mawby, the environmental contractor, for clearance exams and soil testing. - Subcontracting the removal of the underground storage tank with a qualified environmental response contractor. The RFP includes important dates, proposal requirements, and terms and conditions. Contractors must submit their proposals by the due date and time to be considered. The ACLBA will review the proposals and select the most qualified contractor to perform the demolition services.
