The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking a contractor to modernize three elevators at the Federal Correctional Institution in El Reno, Oklahoma. The project requires the contractor to provide all materials, labor, and equipment to complete the work in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and Drawings. The performance period for the project is 120 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. The contractor will be required to submit a Schedule of Values and participate in progress meetings. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price construction contract, and the estimated magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have a valid Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN). • The contractor must submit a bid bond with their bid, and the bid bond must be 20% of the bid price or not to exceed $3,000,000. • The contractor must execute and submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond within 10 days after award. • The contractor must provide and maintain insurance during the entire performance period of the contract, including workers' compensation, comprehensive general liability, and comprehensive automobile liability. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor, safety, and environmental protection.
