The Hugh L. Carey Battery Park City Authority is seeking a firm to provide sprinkler standpipe inspection, testing, repair, and maintenance services at various locations in Battery Park City, Lower Manhattan. The services will include routine and non-routine maintenance, repair, and emergency repair services, as well as testing required by the New York Fire Department and National Fire Protection Association. The selected firm will be responsible for ensuring that the covered equipment operates as designed. • The contract term is expected to be five years. • The authority is a New York State public benefit corporation responsible for financing, developing, constructing, maintaining, and operating Battery Park City. • The authority encourages New York State-certified Minority-Owned Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Business Enterprises, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises to submit proposals. • Proposers must meet the minimum qualification requirements, including being lawfully authorized to do business in the State of New York and the City of New York, employing individuals with valid and current Fire Department of New York S12 and S13 Certificates of Fitness, and having at least five years of experience in providing wet and dry sprinkler standpipe inspection, testing, and maintenance services.
